Tom has a highly experienced career in the building and construction industry commencing in 2007 when undertaking his Cert III in Carpentry, moving into a Site Manager role soon after completion of his qualification before realising the shortfallings of workplace health and safety on construction sites.

Tom’s focus and role shifted to Site HSE Coordinator before becoming the regional HSEQ Manager. From here, Tom felt he could better serve the construction industry by becoming independent and founded Davies Safety Consulting in July 2019.

Tom commenced his working relationship with Herron Coorey in 2022 and has overseen multiple projects varying in value, scope and complexity.
